About Soluna
Better infrastructure for the first conversation.
A patient's first contact with a clinic is almost always a phone call. We think that moment deserves the same care as everything that follows it. Soluna exists to make sure no patient conversation is missed, mishandled, or lost.
Our mission.
We are building the communication layer that sits between a patient's intent and a clinic's calendar. Not a chatbot bolted onto a website, but dependable infrastructure for the moment that decides whether a patient is cared for or quietly lost to the next clinic on their list.
Private healthcare runs on trust and attention. When the phone goes unanswered, both are spent before a patient ever walks through the door. Our work is to protect that first impression, in the patient's own language, at any hour.
What we are building
- A bilingual front desk that never sleeps
- Administrative communication, handled with care
- Clear handoff to the people who run the clinic
Why Soluna exists.
Clinics spend heavily to make the phone ring. Marketing, reputation, referrals, all of it leads back to a call. Yet the call itself is the weakest link: it arrives during a procedure, after closing, or three at once, and a missed one rarely leaves a message.
Generic voice tools were not built for this. They mispronounce, they overreach, they improvise where a clinic needs restraint. Healthcare communication is not a place for a bot that guesses. It is a place for a system that knows exactly what it is allowed to say, and when to hand the call to a person.
So we chose a narrow, serious focus: the administrative front desk of private clinics, done properly, in Spanish and English. That focus is the point. It is what lets us be careful where carelessness is expensive.
Our principles
What we believe.
A handful of principles shape every decision we make about the product.
Healthcare is not a generic use case
We build for one setting and refuse to pretend a general-purpose assistant is good enough for a clinic. The receptionist works inside an approved scope, never attempts clinical judgment, and is written for the realities of private healthcare rather than retrofitted from a template.
Technology should defer to people
The AI exists to protect your team's attention, not to replace their judgment. When a conversation belongs with a person, it goes to a person.
Reliability over novelty
A front desk that works nine times out of ten is a liability. We would rather do fewer things and have them hold under real call volume.
Restraint is a feature
Knowing what not to say is as important as knowing what to say. Approved answers and clear boundaries are designed in, not bolted on.
Honesty about limits
We will tell you what the system cannot do today and what depends on your systems, rather than promising outcomes we cannot stand behind.
Built for the long term.
We are not interested in a quick install and a disappearing act. The receptionist improves as it learns your clinic, and that only happens through an ongoing relationship with the people who run your front desk.
Operational excellence is unglamorous and essential: watching real calls, refining answers, and expanding scope only when the results earn it. That steady, attentive work is what turns a launch into something you can rely on.
- A managed service, configured to your clinic
- Ongoing review and refinement, not a handover
- Scope that grows only when the evidence supports it
